Director (Education)

Associate Director (Environment)

Associate Director (Housing)

Responsible for existing contracts within a region as well focussing on developing new business in that area, you will take overall responsibility for individual contracts and their performance. You will have experience of delivering against multiple budgets while ensuring consistently high levels of client/resident/user satisfaction.

Administrator (Education)

Supporting a range of business units within the organisation, you will be responsible for arranging and receiving deliveries of materials, dealing with invoices, be first-line support for personnel issues, take works orders and distribute to the appropriate teams, organise team meetings and deal with vehicle enquiries and insurance matters.

Surface pump technician (Education)

Ensuring the smooth-running of surface water pumping stations and the operation of sewage plant across our contracts. Undertake the servicing, installation and major overhaul of surface water pumps and general associated maintenance work required by clients

Swimming pool technician (Education)

Commissioning and servicing gas and oil-fired boilers. Using pool-testing equipment so that accurate readings of the pool chemistry are completed. Decommissioning pool equipment. Advising schools on pool care. Installing pool covers.

Team leader (Housing)

Team leaders are required both on cleaning, grounds maintenance and specialist teams. They lead the team, have additional responsibilities and generally can demonstrate good interpersonal skills aswell as having the technical skills in the particular service in which they work.

Team leader (Education)

Lead staff on mobile teams carrying out maintenance of the grounds (grassed areas, flower beds, shrubbery, sports pitch maintenance, weed control etc.) of schools in accordance with the specification. Assistance with planting programmes. Other reasonable duties as directed by Manager/Supervisor

Working Supervisor (Education)

Supporting the Site Supervisor in ensuring satisfactory standards are maintained across the school and assisting with the induction and training of front-line staff. Completing quality checks across the establishment. Demonstrating task skills to cleaning staff

Non-working Supervisor (Education)

Supervision and direction of site-based cleaning staff including providing induction and training . Carry out regular checks on all areas within the school to ensure contract standards are being met. Ensuring adequate supply of cleaning materials are available and that chemicals are being diluted correctly. Ensuring signing-in, and out, records are being completed by all site-based staff.

Area Supervisor (Environment)

Working closely with the Area Manager, your role will be to run a small team and dealing with any minor problems on site. You will also be responsible for the quality of the work carried out by your team. The role will also be covering holiday of the Area Manager

Cleaning Area Supervisor (Education)

Training and supervision of front-line staff to ensure tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Advising and supporting Site Supervisors. Dealing with recruitment and retention of staff. Monitoring service delivery by way of regular site visits and completing quality audits.

Grounds Maintenance Team Manager (Education)

To oversee the day-to-day running of the grounds' maintenance teams including staff supervision, liaison with customers, pricing minor works and managing local budgets.

Contract Manager (Housing)

To ensure the efficient delivery of a contract normally to the value of £500K per annum. Key responsibilities include fiscal control, day-to-day operations and client liaison ensuring maximum levels of client/customers/residents satisfaction and developing new business within the contract.

Working closely with your Business Manager, your role is to ensure that all teams are running to schedule and that all problems are dealt with as quickly as possible. You will also be responsible for checking work carried out by the Areas Supervisor

Business Manager (Environment)

Ensure the smooth running of the contract by co-ordinating teams and dealing with all client enquiries in a quick and efficient manner. Also meetings with client and external organisations.

Cleaning Area Manager (Education)

Lead and manage a team so that efficient and effective cleaning and support services are provided to a range of schools across a geographical area. Give direction to the team of supervisors and site-based staff to ensure tasks are carried out to a high standard and in accordance with requirements.

Landscaper (Education)

Fully experienced in all aspects of hard and soft landscaping installations and holding various certification in the Construction Skills Certification Scheme, you will have experience in the construction of car parks, pathways, fencing, play equipment, safety surfacing, timber and metal covered walkways.

To provide technical advice to clients on all aspects of tree maintenance as well as "hands on" tree surgery and felling work.

Verge cutting (Environment)

You will be responsible for the cutting of all verges in a given area using mowers, strimmers and blowers to the specified standard. You will also be responsible for the trimming back of hedges on the highway to a given height.

Street cleaning operative (Environment)

Clearing rubbish from the Highway as well as any open spaces. You are also responsible for the remove of any fly-tipped items, detritus, or dead animals

Mechanical sweeping operative (Environment)

You must hold an HGV2 licence. You will be responsible for sweeping the kerb lines throughout a given area using an HGV vehicle such as a Johnston 600

Cemetery operative (Environment)

Grave digging using machinery and sometimes manually as well as all maintenance of cemetery grounds including grass cutting and flower beds

Park keeper (Environment)

Maintenance of the grounds (grassed areas, flower beds, shrubbery etc.) of the park as well as the marking out of football pitches and any maintenance that may be required to the pitches

Fine turf operative (Environment)

Maintenance of areas such as cricket squares, bowling greens and croquet lawns during the playing season as well as all winter works as specified in the contract

Driver (Housing)

Drivers are required on a variety of roles including mobile cleaning teams, grounds maintenance teams and specialist bulk collection teams.

Handyperson (Housing)

To carry out handyperson and estate service duties as required including repairs within technical competence. Carry out duties to the highest standards taking into account service-users' health & safety. Duties include carpentry, plumbing, wet trades, glazing and electrical work to national standards.

Window cleaner (Housing)

To carry out the cleaning of windows on a variety of contracts using predominantly a pole system up to 4 floors from a specially-adapted vehicle.

Window cleaner (Education)

Able to clean internal and external windows to a high standard using latest techniques and equipment. You will have a good understanding of the health & safety issues involved with window cleaning - particularly at high level - along with a commitment to delivering high standards throughout the year.

Specialist cleaner (Housing)

To carry out more technical cleaning using a variety of specialist equipment such jet washers, buffing machines and carpet cleaning machines.

Cleaner (Education)

Ensure designated areas allocated are kept in a clean and hygienic condition for the benefit of pupils, staff and visiting members of the public.

Cleaner (Housing)

Cleaning of communal internal and external areas such as lifts and staircases, and clearing rubbish from grounds (estate roads, grassed and paved areas, courtyards, garage forecourts, shed areas, washing line enclosures, service roads, footpaths, walkways, playgrounds, flower beds, shrubbery, and other communal parts as directed
