Bloomin' beautiful: Pinnacle psg sponsors floral welcome for Castle Point visitors

Wednesday 29th August

Visitors to Castle Point get an even brighter welcome, thanks to new floral displays sponsored by Pinnacle psg on key routes into the borough.

Castle Point Borough Council recently installed five welcome signs to help visitors recognise when they were in Castle Point and to help encourage civic pride amongst residents. Pinnacle psg has now sponsored planters filled with attractive flowers and plants, which will be installed in front of each sign.

Pinnacle psg, one of the leading providers of community solutions to public sector organisations across the UK, delivers Castle Point Council's street cleaning and grounds maintenance. Pinnacle psg contractors will be maintaining these planters throughout the year to ensure they always look their best.

Cllr Ray Howard, chairman of Castle Point's environment committee, said: "This is yet another improvement to the borough and there will be many more to come. All these things help make Castle Point an attractive place to live, work and visit.

"I'd like to thank Pinnacle psg for their support and for once again demonstrating the importance of partnership working. It is great news for residents, because not only can they see the improvement, there is no cost for them as local taxpayers."

Alec Spooner, Pinnacle psg's ground maintenance contract manager, said: "Knowing that the environment and civic pride are key priorities for Castle Point residents and the council, we decided to help beautify the areas around the welcome signs by sponsoring these planters. This is just one of the many community-focussed projects that Pinnacle psg delivers for free, in addition to its contracted work with the Council, to give something back to the communities in which we work."
