Just like that: Pinnacle psg residents treated to magical day at 8th annual conference

More than a hundred tenants and residents representatives from across Pinnacle psg’s London, Midlands and south east contracts attended a magical day out at Pinnacle psg’s latest residents conference, Just Like That, recently.  To view pictures of the conference, click here.

This is the eighth conference that Pinnacle psg, one of the UK’s leading housing and neighbourhood managers, has organised for its residents.  The all-day event, which was held at the Magic Circle Headquarters in Euston, featured guest speakers, workshops, activities and presentations focussed on empowering communities through resident involvement.  Guest speakers included Diane Bellinger, the Chief Executive of Preston Community Gateway, and Deborah Ilott, an ambassador for the Tenant Services Authority.  

Residents were also treated to a touch of magic, including a live fire-eating show when residents arrive, competitions and a special game show, hosted by Pinnacle psg’s Housing Director and “Chief Magician” for the day, John Gibson.

Feedback from attendees was extremely positive.  Rhonda Dewsnap, from North East Hackney, said: “It's having days like yesterday and meeting other like-minded residents and officers that remind me why I got involved in resident participation.  I thought the day was fast and pacey; it flowed well and, most importantly in my view, was of relevance. I came away feeling that I had learned lots and with plenty to think about.”

Bayswater resident, Michael Bews, said: “I attended the Pinnacle psg annual residents' conference last week. In my research on the Pinnacle psg website prior to the event and also during the presentations and events on the day I was impressed by their...approach to housing management and resident participation.”

Churchill Gardens resident, Sheila Smith, said: “I just wanted to thank you, and the rest of the Pinnacle psg team, for such an enjoyable day... I particularly liked winning the chocolates!”
